Review
Sunset Studio in an amazing Hollywood-inspired hidden object game in which you play a poor peon working in the props department. As in any hidden object game, your goal is to search cluttered scenes for specific prop items before you run out of time. It includes a great variety of power-ups to collect, that are generally granted when you discover a bonus item. The bonuses include spotlights, camera viewfinders, and scripts that provide hints in relation to where certain objects are hiding. It also has a few flaws like vague clues, similar- looking objects, and the ability to to only tackle a single scenario at once. Many items are pretty well hidden or disguised, and many hints are confusing, which adds even more challenge. The graphics are excellent, offering pop-ups including theater marquees and signs indicating different shot takes, which add a charming effect to the game .The music is also great, with familiar film score-style accompaniments. All in all, although it has some flaws, Sunset Studio is an entertaining game that deserves a try. |
